Bears Who Care x danbi 

 

A collaboration with Dean Hoy and his ongoing project ‘Bears Who Care’. Dean Hoy is a London-based visual artist, working between soft sculpture, film, and photo. By chance we were assigned to the same halls our first year at Central Saint Martins in 2015, and from snuggling on the sofa then our worlds have always merged through comfort and care. 

 

Originating from danbi’s offcuts in Los Angeles, the fabric journeyed across to London to be worked into Hoy’s creations. Through assembling, inverting, and attacking he created the bunnies, to then be sent back to LA to be embellished and beaded with love by danbi. Layers of care and touch, a testament to long-distance friendships. 

 

Fortuitously, the bunnies are looking for their new homes. 100% of proceeds will go towards a charity of your choice.
